Domesday Reloaded

I stumbled across the BBC stand promoting the Domesday Reloaded project this lunchtime.  The original Domesday was launched by the BBC in 1986, with the ambitious aim to record a snapshot of everyday life across the UK for future generations. A million volunteers took part, submitting nearly 150,000 pages of articles and over 23,000 photos.
